Subject: The 2009 Syracuse Alumni Fishing Extravaganza Details without all the fluff.
The host resort is Lanz’s Motel, Clayton, NY State Route 12. Currently we have five rooms, contact us for accommodations at $83.07 double occupancy.
Exit 50 off of 81 toward Clayton ( NYS Route 12) to Lanz’s Motel 40033 NYS #12.

We will rally at the North Star Restaurant prior to meeting the fishing guides at 8 am in Alexandria Bay. The North Star Restaurant is located on the corner of NYS Route 12 and NYS Route 26.


The hospitality room will be opened around 6 pm for a reasonable amount of time.
We will meet at the guide’s boat house at 7:45 a.m. Don’t forget your fishing license!
Park your car at the guides’ boat house.
Friday, June 26, 2009: An Old Fashioned Fish Fry at the Home of Lee Best in Syracuse
Saturday, June 27, 2009, is an open day – follow your own schedule.
Travel to the host resort Lanz’s Motel, Clayton, NY State Route 12.
(Some Brothers may wish to arrive on Sunday at the North Star Restaurant)
All meals are Dutch, except the shore diner on Sunday.
AVAILABLE ACTIVITIES: Golf, Sightseeing, horseback riding, hiking, cards, snacks, fraternizing, and maybe a movie or two in the hospitality room.
Sunday, June 28, 2009 (All times are approximate):
6:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. Breakfast (Dutch)
8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Fishing Extravaganza Charter/Guide services/bait.
1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Shore dinner and Big Fish trophy presentation,
Fish Tails and unlimited laughs
Big Fish and Largest Bass Contest
3:30 p.m. Arrive back at the dock and depart for Syracuse.
5:30 p.m. This is the estimated return time to Syracuse, New York.
Summary of Costs:
$185.00 per person (not including lodging) which covers the hospitality room, fishing, shore dinner, memories, trophies, souvenirs, fun and fraternization with Brothers and friends in the Thousand Islands.
